The IS4 precision digital resistance meter is designed for use in the upgraded version of the quality control system for mounting and testing  cable networks TEST-9110. The IS4 module can also be successfully used in other instrumentation systems built on the basis of the open international standard VXI.

Key Features:

  • A new mode “Checking the quality of installation” has been introduced.
  • In all modes, the “Autorange” mode has been introduced, due to which the data is supplemented by higher digits, which will contain information about the range to which this data belongs.
  • The amount of RAM is reduced to 1K measurements.
  • 3 additions were made to the operating panel of the IS4 module: the formation of direct current strength, the measurement of differential DC voltage and the measurement of circuit resistance.

Reproduction of a direct current voltage of positive or negative polarity:
  • from 4 to 100 V - range "100 V";
  • from 100 to 1050 V - range "1000 V";
  • from -4 to -100 V - range "-100 V";
  • from -100 to -1050 V - range "-1000 V"
Resolution resolution of DC voltage in the ranges:
  • 0.5 V in the ranges of "100 V" and "-100 V";

In the circuit resistance measurement mode, the module provides voltage limitation on the measured circuit in the ranges:
  • from 0.5 to 30 V at a current of up to 1 A;
  • from 0.5 to 20 V at a current of 1 to 2 A.
The resolution of setting the voltage limit level on the measured circuit is 0.1 V. The permissible relative error of setting the voltage limit level on the measured circuit is ± 0.5%
  • With a measurement current of 1 A and a voltage limitation level of 30 V, the module provides a measurement of circuit resistance in the range from 0.002 to 30 Ohm.
  • With a measurement current of 2 A and a voltage limit level of 20 V, the module provides a measurement of circuit resistance in the range from 0.002 to 10 Ohm.
  • At other values ​​of the measurement current, the module provides a measurement of the circuit resistance in the range from 0.002 Ohm to Rв, where: Rв - the upper limit of the range in ohms. The circuit resistance is measured with the following programmable integration time values:
