The module is designed to work as part of measuring systems and performs the function of a high-voltage analog signal switch, connects any of the 100 independent output lines to the input lines that form the channel of measurement or impact.

The module is designed to work in measuring systems created on the basis of the VXIbus trunk.

The interface part of the module provides the following characteristics:
  • hierarchical properties - executor;
  • device class - based on registers (RB);
  • address space - A16 / A24;
  • data format - D32;
  • dynamic / static addressing of the VXI device;
  • the required memory capacity is 8192 bytes;
  • electrical specifications in accordance with IEEE Std 1155-1992.
The module provides:
  • connection to the control object of 100 output lines;
  • connection to any of the 100 output lines of any of the four input measuring lines: “Eo / Io”, “+ Ux”, “Ix / -Ux” and “-Io”
The maximum voltage that can be applied for a period of not more than 1 minute between two input lines, between two output lines, between any input and any output line with open relay contacts between them, no more than 2500 V DC voltage or AC amplitude value
The maximum voltage that can be applied between two input lines, between two output lines, between any input and any output line with open relay contacts between them for a period of more than 1 minute, not more than 1000 V DC voltage or AC amplitude
When the output line is connected to the input line, a channel is formed with the following characteristics:
  • maximum switched voltage (DC voltage value or AC voltage amplitude value) - 1000 V;
  • maximum switched current - 1.0 A;
  • maximum switched power - 100 W;
  • maximum current flowing when the channel relay is in the closed state - 1 A;
  • closing / opening time of a switching element (relay) no more than 1 ms.
Insulation resistance between two input lines, between two output lines, between any input and any output line with open relay contacts between them at least 1 GΩ
The module provides the possibility of functional verification of the main nodes in the "Self-control" mode
The module provides the possibility of a functional check using external cables by means of the module itself in the “OK disconnected” mode
The module contains the following functional units:
  • typical interface part;
  • two module controllers;
  • module relay control keys (BF1);
  • block of switching elements
A typical interface part is designed to provide information communication between register-based devices and the VXIbus trunk
For the module to interface correctly with the VXIbus trunk, the logical address of the module must be set with switch S1
The module controllers are designed to control the switching elements of the module. The controllers are equipped with microprogram machines that perform switching of switching elements, as well as software-controlled timers that count down the time interval (0.8 ms) necessary for reliable relay switching
